Conference & Tournament
The Conference & Tournament is a vibrant biennial event that fosters community spirit and unity among the Chin people in Denmark. It provides a platform for connection, learning, and celebration, bringing together participants of all ages to strengthen bonds and promote cultural pride.
The event features seminars and workshops that encourage knowledge sharing, skill development, and personal growth. Topics are carefully selected to meet individual and community needs, offering practical insights and tools for everyday life.
Additional activities include a beauty pageant, celebrating confidence and cultural pride, as well as sports competitions that promote teamwork and interaction, enhancing the event’s focus on unity and shared experiences.
More than an event, the Conference & Tournament embodies the Chin community’s commitment to unity, cultural preservation, and growth, ensuring traditions thrive for future generations. It’s not only the Chin people in Denmark who participate in the Conference & Tournament; attendees from various parts of Europe also join to celebrate, connect, and take part in the festivities.
Youth & Sports Services
The Youth and Sport Services program is dedicated to promoting physical well-being, teamwork, and community unity among the Chin people in Denmark. Through a variety of activities held throughout the year, it serves as a platform for fostering health, collaboration, and social connections.
A key part of the program is the Liga Tournament, which spans the year and takes place in different locations across Denmark. By rotating locations, the tournament engages all parts of the community, bringing people together through sports while fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and shared experiences.
Another major event is Sports Day, a lively gathering that includes activities for all ages. It combines fun, fitness, and community bonding, fostering not just physical health but also a sense of pride and belonging through organized games and friendly matches.
Beyond these events, the program supports personal growth, leadership development, and lasting friendships. It plays an essential role in strengthening the bonds within the community and highlights the Chin people’s commitment to unity, health, and cultural connection in Denmark.
Human Resources & Education
Human Resources and Education Committee (HREC)
Founded in 2019, the Human Resources and Education Committee (HREC) supports the Chin community in Denmark through data collection, news translation, and educational events.
Data Collection and Community Statistics
HREC gathers data on Chin members who have completed educational programs in Denmark. In 2023, the "CCDK Statistics 2023" was published, offering insights into the community's educational, social, and economic development. This resource highlights achievements and provides valuable information for policymakers and researchers.
Educational Seminars and Workshops
HREC organizes seminars on essential topics such as health and the Danish education system, equipping the Chin community with knowledge and tools for successful integration and growth.

Literature & Culture
Celebrating Our Heritage and Language
Rooted in the rich traditions of Chin State, Myanmar, our community is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our cultural heritage in Denmark. Many of us arrived as refugees, carrying a deep commitment to keeping our identity alive.
Each year, from February 18 to 20, we unite to celebrate Chin National Day, a vibrant event showcasing traditional music, dance, and attire. This gathering honors our history, connects generations, and shares our culture with Danish friends.
Throughout the year, Chin language classes are held by devoted community members, ensuring our native language thrives. These classes are vital in helping our children and members stay connected to their linguistic roots.
The Literature and Cultural Committee leads initiatives to promote Chin literature, publish language textbooks, and organize seminars and cultural education. These efforts preserve the stories, values, and identity that define our community.
